Homework
Type “Finding a Pumpkin” paragraph on Google Docs by Wednesday
read for 20 minutes each night. Half of the reading time should be out loud.

Social Studies
We are reading “Traders in Time” to learn about when fur traders lived and worked in Michigan.
Science
We are starting our first unit, Power of Flower
Reading
We have been focusing our learning on understanding Character traits. We are diving into our text and looking to ask meaningful questions and find the answers within the text.
I am also encouraging students to stick with one book and read it cover to cover.
Writing
This week we worked on writing a fantasy story with all the story elements. The students worked hard on their pieces.
Math
We are continuing with multiplication and division. Specifically representing multiplication with arrays and the commutative property. In addition, More flashcards will be added to the student bags this week.
